to proposed cuts to federal meat inspectors as part of the sequester. Board
members shared support for development of a new farm bill that helps farmers and
ranchers manage risk, but not guarantee a profit.
Those attending included
President Steve Nelson of Axtell, First Vice President Mark McHargue of Central
City, Sherry Vinton of Whitman, Nathan Bartels of Elk Creek, Del Ficke of
Pleasant Dale, Scott Moore of Bartley, Kevin Peterson of Osceola, Myles Ramsey
