1/2 pound Velveeta® Cheese
2 sticks butter
1 2-pound bag of powdered sugar
3/4 cup cocoa
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1. In a microwave-safe bowl, place the cheese and butter; microwave on medium (50 percent) until melted (about 5 minutes). Check and stir periodically.
2. Sift the cocoa and sugar together in a large bowl. Add the melted mixture to the dry ingredients. Mix thoroughly.
3. Add vanilla and optional nuts.
4. Pour into a buttered 8 or 9-inch square pan. Chill until firm. Cut into 1-inch pieces.
