WHAT IS AG PROMOTION?

Ag Promotion Committees in County Farm Bureau sponsor or promote activities that enhance Farm Bureau’s positive image or convey the value of agriculture; they also provide educational opportunities and experiences to members, consumers and the general public.

WHAT DO AG PROMOTION COMMITTEES DO?

Ag Promotion Committees offer farmers and ranchers the opportunity to spread agriculture’s message to children and adults through Agriculture in the Classroom programs and to "city cousins" through mall shows, fair displays, learning barns and educational seminars.

HOW DOES AG PROMOTION WORK?

A state committee of appointed members (representing the state board member districts – see below) serves as the "idea" team, as well as being resource persons for projects. The state committee coordinates projects with participating counties, providing both training and resources for success.
