Agriculture in the Classroom

Nebraska Agriculture in the Classroom (AITC) works to educate school children about agriculture and its impact on their daily lives. In Nebraska, AITC helps teachers integrate agriculture into their regular classroom teaching by providing training, resources, small grants and a pen pal program that connects students to an individual farm or ranch family. Students who learn about agriculture today will be tomorrow’s consumers, voters and decision-makers.
