White-Reinhardt Scholarships to the National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference

Two Scholarship opportunities are now available, one for teachers and one for volunteer educators. This scholarship program is to provide travel expense funds to attend the national conference and then use the information gained to expand their outreach to students regarding food, fiber and fuel.

The White-Reinhardt Fund for Education is a special project of the Foundation in cooperation with the American Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee. It was established to honor two former chairs of that committee, Berta White and Linda Reinhardt, who were leaders in the national effort to improve agricultural literacy.

It is important to review the application guidelines before you apply.
Each application once submitted will be sent to your State Farm Bureau Agricultural Literacy Coordinator for approval. Your State Coordinator will also be required to fill out and submit a recommendation form in order for you to qualify.
Applications are due Oct 15, 2014 to the state office.
