COVID-19
Unfortunately, an outlook for 2022 must include a mention of COVID-19. The longevity and toll of the outbreak has confounded nearly everyone. In 2021, most producers, businesses, and Nebraskans transitioned to a new normal of living with the virus. The ability to live and cope with new variants will influence economic growth, the length of supply chain backlogs, and the Federal Reserve response to inflation, and more. As such, it will have a say in agriculture in 2022Â as well.
