Smith to Lead the House Ways and Means Trade Subcommittee
Nebraska Farm Bureau congratulates Congressman Adrian Smith (NE-3) for being selected to serve as the senior member of the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Trade. Given the importance of trade to the financial futures of Nebraska’s farm and ranch families, the selection of Congressman Smith, a long-time proponent of growing international markets and a key agricultural ally in the House, is a win for agriculture and a win for Nebraska.

The Nebraska Department of Agriculture is currently accepting applications for its biggest youth outreach event – the Nebraska Agricultural Youth Institute (NAYI). NAYI brings together hundreds of high school juniors and seniors for one week every year to learn more about Nebraska agriculture, network with ag leaders, and discover the many careers available in agriculture.
