Leadership Academy Works to Build Strong Leaders

Ten farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness professionals from across Nebraska met in Grand Island Feb. 23-24 for the second session of their year-long training as part of Nebraska Farm Bureau’s (NEFB) Leadership Academy. This session focused on understanding the role and opportunities in Farm Bureau and learning how to be an effective member of a County Farm Bureau.

NEFB Presence Felt at Nebraska Women in Ag Conference

The 38th Nebraska Women in Agriculture Conference was held Feb. 23-24 in Kearney. The Nebraska Women in Agriculture Conference is an annual two-day event designed to educate and uplift women involved in any aspect of Nebraska’s agricultural industry. As a proud sponsor, Nebraska Farm Bureau connected with producers at the event and participated in workshops.

BBQ & Brews a Big Success

From bumping elbows with Governor Pillen to discussing upcoming legislative debate with Speaker of the Legislature John Arch, Nebraska Farm Bureau’s (NEFB) BBQ & Brews event gave members the opportunity to get to better know our state’s elected officials. Through events like this, Farm Bureau members can become more engaged in our advocacy process.
