Tax Relief, Broadband Priorities for State Revenues
Nebraska Farm Bureau reminded the Legislature and others that property tax relief and broadband expansion must be top priorities for the use of state tax revenues, following the state Economic Forecasting Board meeting earlier today. During the meeting it was reported that state revenues are far exceeding projections. In a statement, Nebraska Farm Bureau President Mark McHargue pointed out the importance of the Legislature acting to ensure Nebraskans get the full amount of tax relief available to them due to the passage of LB 1107 and the need for the Legislature to fund broadband expansion in Nebraska.
