Farm Bureau Board Holds Virtual D.C. Fly In
The Nebraska Farm Bureau Board of Directors held the first of a two-day virtual D.C. fly in this week to discuss priority issues with elected leaders. Discussions centered around the topics of taxes, trade, and climate related issues. The board visited with both U.S. Sen. Ben Sasse and Congressman Adrian Smith (R-Dist.3). The board also met with representatives from the Ecosystem Services Market Consortium to discuss agriculture’s potential role in emerging climate markets.
