USDA is rebooting how it plans to approach the issue of establishing Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) tags as the official ear tag for use in interstate movement of cattle; the House and Senate have approved, and the president is expected to sign, a bill to expand the sign-up deadline for the Paycheck Protection Program; and the Legislature’s Appropriations Committee is getting close to releasing its proposed biennium budget for the state which will contain funding for several priority issues for Nebraska Farm Bureau.
