Nebraska Farm Bureau Political Action Committee Endorses Paul Kenney for Board of Regents

LINCOLN, NEB. – The Nebraska Farm Bureau Political Action Committee (NEFB-PAC) endorses Paul Kenney of Kearney. Kenney is seeking re-election to represent District 6 on the University of Nebraska Board of Regents.

“Paul is well-known for his commitment to agriculture and growing Nebraska’s economy. He has an excellent understanding of the university, how it functions, and its land-grant agricultural mission,” said Sherry Vinton of Whitman, chair of NEBF-PAC and first vice president of Nebraska Farm Bureau.

Kenney is a farmer and a rancher who has served as chairman of the board of KAAPA Ethanol since its inception in 2001.

“As a farmer, we can trust that Paul will continue to represent the best interests of taxpayers, families, farmers, and ranchers in Nebraska on the Board of Regents. Paul has made an excellent regent and has helped guide the university as it works to serve all Nebraskans,” said Vinton.

The NEFB-PAC makes a grassroots endorsement decided by farmers and ranchers and is given to selected candidates for public office based on their commitment to and positions on agricultural issues, qualifications, previous experience, communication abilities, and their ability to represent the district.  The Nebraska Farm Bureau is a grassroots, state-wide organization dedicated to supporting farm and ranch families and working for the benefit of all Nebraskans through a wide variety of educational, service, and advocacy efforts. More than 55,000 families across Nebraska are Farm Bureau members, working together to achieve rural and urban prosperity as agriculture is a key fuel to Nebraska’s economy.
