On a Related Note
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, College of Agriculture Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) is also celebrating—it has been in existence more than 150 years. The Board of Regents established the College in 1872, just three years after the Legislature created the University. The first students enrolled in 1874.Â
