SpaceX’s Starlink offers fast, reliable internet statewide

Nebraska Farm Bureau (NEFB) understands that access to high-speed, high-quality broadband service is essential to Nebraska’s farmers, ranchers and rural communities. This is why Nebraska Farm Bureau is excited to work with SpaceX’s Starlink to better fulfill the broadband needs of all Nebraskans. There has been a lot of interest in the Starlink service. Nebraska Farm Bureau sat down with Lisa Klutz, director of membership for Nebraska Farm Bureau, to answer some questions about the new service.

Q1.) What is the partnership between Nebraska Farm Bureau and Starlink?

A1.) Starlink delivers highspeed, low-latency broadband internet capable of streaming, online gaming, video calls and more to users all over the world. This partnership will provide Farm Bureau members with two months of free service, a nearly $200 value, when subscribing to Starlink for high-speed broadband internet service in remote
and rural areas in Nebraska.

Q2.) How does signing up for this benefit work?

A2.) Members and residents of Nebraska – who are also new customers of Starlink – receive two months of service free when signing up for Starlink services. Residential, business and recreational vehicle plans are eligible.
You must use the direct link on the NEFB website, under Starlink to receive the discount. When signing up, payment for the equipment and one month of service is required. Within hours of activation, members will receive an email from Starlink showing the two-month credit on their statement. With the initial one-month payment and two-months free, members are set for the first three months of Starlink service! There is no waiting period for new members to take advantage of this benefit.

Q3.) Do you have to be a member of Nebraska Farm Bureau to get this discount?

A3.) Yes, you must be a member of Nebraska Farm Bureau to receive this discount. If you’re not currently a member, visit www.nefb.org/join or call (402) 421-4466, and we will help you join today.
