What’s on the Horizon for International Trade?

The Clayton Yeutter Institute of International Trade and Finance at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in cooperation with the Nebraska Farm Bureau is presenting a one-day conference entitled “What’s on the Horizon for International Trade?”

The summit will be held Thursday, Oct. 10, at the University of Nebraska College of Law in Lincoln. The event is free and open to the public. Topics will include a trade primer, remarks from Edward Alden, a Senior Fellow with the Council on Foreign Relations, and panels on the World Trade Organization, tariffs and retaliation, and the future of free trade agreements. Former U.S. Chief Agricultural Negotiator, Darci Vetter, and American Farm Bureau President Zippy Duvall will also offer remarks. The value of agricultural trade equals almost one-third of Nebraska producers’ agricultural receipts. The conference provides a unique opportunity to learn more about the future of U.S. trade. For more information and to register, go to: https://yeutter-institute.unl.edu.
