Cyber Threats and Nebraska Agriculture
Increasing awareness among farmers and ranchers of the growing risk of cyber-attacks was the focus of the Nebraska Farm Bureau news conference at Husker Harvest Days. Nebraska Farm Bureau President Mark McHargue, along with Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson and Gene Kowel from the Federal Bureau of Investigation, discussed the growing risks of cyber-attacks on Nebraska agriculture and steps farmers, ranchers, and agribusinesses can take to minimize their exposure.
