State Senator Julie Slama Receives Nebraska Farm Bureau-PAC Endorsement
LINCOLN, NEB. – Nebraska State Senator Julie Slama has received the endorsement of the Nebraska Farm Bureau’s Political Action Committee (NEFB-PAC) in her bid for election to serve the citizens of Legislative District 1. The NEFB-PAC endorsement is based on candidate’s positions on agriculture and rural issues and recommendations from district evaluation committees.
“Senator Slama has proven time and again to be a leader for rural Nebraska in the
Legislature. Her support for property tax relief, work to improve broadband and e-connectivity, as well as her support for agricultural transportation issues, are but a few examples of Farm Bureau priorities where Julie has been extremely helpful to rural Nebraska and agriculture,” said Mark McHargue of Central City, chairman of NEFB-PAC and first vice president of Nebraska Farm Bureau.
“We are pleased to count Julie Slama among the candidates who have received the NEFB-PAC endorsement and are happy to offer our assistance to a proven leader and supporter of farm and ranch families and rural Nebraska,” said McHargue.
