State Senator Lou Ann Linehan Receives NEFB-PAC Endorsement

LINCOLN, NEB. – Nebraska State Senator Lou Ann Linehan is seeking re-election to District 39 in the Nebraska Legislature, and has received the endorsement of the Nebraska Farm Bureau’s Political Action Committee (NEFB-PAC). The NEFB-PAC endorsements are based on candidate’s positions on agriculture and rural issues and recommendations from district evaluation committees.

“She will fight for property tax relief and will work toward building a strong economy by attracting new business investments and creating new jobs. These qualities make her a great candidate to represent the people of District 39,” said Mark McHargue of Central City, chairman of NEFB-PAC and first vice president of Nebraska Farm Bureau.

According to McHargue, Linehan has been a strong advocate for Farm Bureau priorities and has worked diligently to lower taxes in Nebraska, which are too high – especially property and income taxes.

“We’re pleased to support Lou Ann as she seeks re-election in District 39. We encourage Nebraska Farm Bureau members to support Lou Ann and we look forward to working with her for the betterment of Nebraska,” said McHargue.

The Nebraska Farm Bureau is a grassroots, state-wide organization dedicated to supporting farm and ranch families and working for the benefit of all Nebraskans through a wide variety of educational, service and advocacy efforts. More than 58,000 families across Nebraska are Farm Bureau members, working together to achieve rural and urban prosperity as agriculture is a key fuel to Nebraska’s economy.
