LINCOLN, NEB. – Nebraska State Senator Mike McDonnell has received the endorsement of the Nebraska Farm Bureau’s Political Action Committee (NEFB-PAC) in his bid for re-election to serve the citizens of Nebraska Legislative District 5. The NEFB-PAC endorsements are based on candidate’s positions on agriculture and rural issues and recommendations from district evaluation committees.
“He is an advocate for property tax relief and is committed to supporting public safety. These qualities make him a great candidate to represent the people of District 5,” said Mark McHargue of Central City, chairman of NEFB-PAC and first vice president of Nebraska Farm Bureau.
According to McHargue, Sen. McDonnell has been a strong advocate for Farm Bureau priorities, such as lowering property taxes.
“We’re pleased to support Mike as he seeks re-election. We encourage Nebraska Farm Bureau members to support Mike and we look forward to continuing to work with him for the betterment of Nebraska,” said McHargue.
