Council of Presidents & Policy Forum

Virtual Event – Thursday, November 19, 2020
ZOOM Meeting | 7:45 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (CT)
The Nebraska Farm Bureau Policy Forum gives Farm Bureau members the opportunity to represent the resolutions that their County Farm Bureau has submitted for discussion. The resolutions that advance from the Policy Forum will move to the full delegate body to be debated during the Nebraska Farm Bureau Annual Meeting in December.
The 2020 Nebraska Farm Bureau Policy Forum will be held as a virtual ONLY event.
To participate, county leaders will need to join a “Zoom” webinar.
All participants will NEED to register for the event.
Event Format
Through the Zoom webinar, members will be able to provide comments on resolutions submitted by their County Farm Bureau. Comments from county representatives will be limited to 3 minutes per issue/resolution, not including questions from the State Legislative Policy Subcommittee.
Other members participating via Zoom will have the same opportunity to comment on an issue/resolution by asking to be recognized. Member comments will be subject to the same 3 minute time limit.
There will not be a straw poll taken on individual resolutions this year.
When there are no additional comments on the issue/resolution, the chair of the subcommittee will move on to the next issue/resolution.
