Fall Acreage Certification Deadline Approaching; Contact Your County FSA Office Now
Nebraska FSA offices across the state are working with producers to complete their fall acreage certification ahead of the November 15 deadline. Acreage certification is important to maintain eligibility for potential USDA program benefits. Common fall-planted crops for certification include winter wheat, rye, and triticale, among others. If you have fall-planted acres, please contact your county FSA office as soon as possible to complete your acreage certification.
Farmers Can Now Make 2023 Crop Year Elections, Enroll in ARC and PLC Safety Net Programs
Agricultural producers can now change election and enroll in the Agriculture Risk Coverage (ARC) and Price Loss Coverage (PLC) programs for the 2023 crop year, two key safety net programs offered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Signup began Monday, and producers have until March 15, 2023, to enroll in these two programs.
