Nov. 15 Fall Acreage Reporting Deadline Nears

To comply with program requirements and maintain eligibility for USDA program benefits, all producers are encouraged to file an accurate acreage certification report by the applicable deadline. The acreage certification deadline for fall-seeded crops such as winter wheat and rye is Nov. 15, 2021. Contact your county FSA office as soon as possible to schedule a certification appointment.

USDA Offers Online Tool for Ranchers to Estimate Compensation for Feed Transportation Costs

An online tool is now available to help ranchers document and estimate payments to cover feed transportation costs caused by drought, which are now covered by the Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honeybees, and Farm-raised Fish Program (ELAP).
