Farm Bureau Members Set Policy on Key Issues, Elect State Leaders at Annual Meeting and Convention
Farmers and ranchers from across the state set Nebraska Farm Bureau policy for the coming year and elected leaders as part of the organization’s 104th Annual Meeting and Convention held Dec. 5-7 in Kearney. Delegates discussed a wide range of agricultural policy issues to provide direction for the organization.

Nebraska Farm Bureau Names 2022 Leadership Academy Class
Eleven farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness professionals from across Nebraska have been selected for Nebraska Farm Bureau’s 2022 Leadership Academy. They will begin a year-long program starting Jan. 20-21 in Kearney. Find out more about the cadets!

Lance Atwater Earns Top Spot in Nebraska Farm Bureau’s Discussion Meet Competition
Adams/Webster County Farm Bureau member, Lance Atwater of Ayr is the winner of the 2021 Young Farmers and Ranchers (YF&R) Discussion Meet competition. The award was announced Dec. 7, at the “We Love Our Members” luncheon during Nebraska Farm Bureau’s (NEFB) 104th Annual Convention held Dec. 5-7 in Kearney.
Purpose+Progress the Theme of 6th Annual Grower’s Gala
The Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation held its sixth annual Grower’s Gala on Dec. 6, during the 2021 Nebraska Farm Bureau Annual Convention. Featuring a raffle, live auction, individual donations, and a matching gift challenge, fundraising topped $104,000 in support of the foundation’s Nebraska Agriculture in the Classroom, scholarships and awards, and consumer engagement efforts.
