Tai for U.S. Trade Representative

Farm Bureau has offered its support for the nomination of Katherine Tai to server as the next U.S. Trade Representative under the Biden administration. Tai has served as the chief trade counsel on the House Ways and Means Committee since 2017. Tai spent seven years as a U.S. trade representative attorney specializing in enforcing trade agreements with China. “We’re pleased President-elect Biden will reportedly nominate Katherine Tai to be the next U.S. Trade Representative. America’s farmers and ranchers rely on a fair marketplace to compete globally and it’s more important than ever for them to have an ally fighting on their behalf,” said American Farm Bureau President Zippy Duval in a statement.
