The six-foot by three-foot bronze sculpture in the shape of Nebraska is framed by a bronze tree that is surrounded by leaves engraved with the names of individual donors to the Nebraska Farm Bureau Foundation through the Cornerstone Campaign.
The Centennial sculpture can be viewed by the public in the main entry of the Nebraska Farm Bureau offices at 5225 So. 16th St. in Lincoln Mon-Fri. 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.

About the Artist
Sondra L. Jonson of S. L. Jonson Studios was born in Philadelphia and now resides in Cambridge, Neb. and has produced a large line of bronze sculptures, from miniatures to monuments, for clients throughout the United States and in Europe. Jonson, a magna cum laude graduate of Bryn Mawr College, and a former student of Evangelos Frudakis, has developed a signature style that is both classical and contemporary, powerful yet tender, always sensitive to form, color and message.
Jonson studied at the Philadelphia College of Art, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, the Center for Hispanic Studies (in Madrid, Spain), and graduated magna cum laude from Bryn Mawr College and the Frudakis Academy of Art.
Now in her 27th year as a professional sculptor, Ms. Jonson has established her reputation as a master of human figure and portraiture. Her sculptures always display skillful craftsmanship while looking deeply into the human story. She has competed and placed in national and international competitions, including the Oklahoma City Memorial Competition.
