From the sunflower and dry bean fields of Western Nebraska, Keith County Farm Bureau member Cindi Allen steps onto the world stage where international trade is the headliner.

Allen was recently appointed to the Agricultural Policy Advisory Committee (APAC) for trade. She, along with 29 other committee members, provide advice and guidance to U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack and U.S. Trade Representative Michael Froman on the administration of trade policy, including enforcement of existing trade agreements and negotiating objectives for new trade agreements.
