LINCOLN, NEB. – Robert Clements of Elmwood has been designated a “Friend of Agriculture” by NEFB-PAC, Nebraska Farm Bureau’s political action committee. Clements is seeking election to the District 2 seat in the Nebraska Legislature. 

LINCOLN, NEB. – Rob Schafer of Beatrice has been named a “Friend of Agriculture” by NEFB-PAC, Nebraska Farm Bureau’s political action committee. Schafer serves on the University of Nebraska Board of Regents representing District 5. He is currently seeking re-election to the position.

LINCOLN, NEB. – U.S. Rep. Jeff Fortenberry has been designated a “Friend of Agriculture” by NEFB-PAC, Nebraska Farm Bureau’s political action committee. Fortenberry, who is seeking re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives in Nebraska’s 1st Congressional District, received the designation based on his ongoing efforts to advance the well-being of Nebraska’s farm and ranch families, said Mark McHargue of Central City, chairman of NEFB-PAC and first vice president of Nebraska Farm Bureau.

ALLEN, NEB. – The Dixon County Farm Bureau awarded both Allen and Laurel-Concord-Coleridge FFA, $1,500 each for their participation in the Connecting Chapters program this year.

LINCOLN, NEB. – Nebraska Attorney General Doug Peterson has been designated a “Friend of Agriculture” by NEFB-PAC, Nebraska Farm Bureau’s political action committee. Peterson is seeking re-election as Nebraska’s Attorney General.  

LINCOLN, NEB. – John Murante of Gretna has been designated a “Friend of Agriculture” by NEFB-PAC, Nebraska Farm Bureau’s political action committee. Murante is seeking election to serve as Nebraska’s State Treasurer. 

LINCOLN, NEB. –  The Nebraska Farm Bureau says farmers, ranchers, and the environment would suffer the most if the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) were to limit or take away the ability to use Glyphosate as a crop protection tool. The Nebraska Farm Bureau comments were shared with EPA in response to the agency initiating a formal review of the registration of Glyphosate under the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA). FIFRA requires EPA to review pesticide registrations every 15 years to ensure the available science continues to support the safety of the product.

LINCOLN, NEB. – Myron Dorn of Adams has been designated a “Friend of Agriculture” by NEFB-PAC, Nebraska Farm Bureau’s political action committee. Dorn is seeking to represent District 30 in the Nebraska Legislature.

LINCOLN, NEB. – Doug Oertwich of Pilger has been designated a “Friend of Agriculture” by NEFB-PAC, Nebraska Farm Bureau’s political action committee. Oertwich is seeking to represent District 22 in the Nebraska Legislature.

LINCOLN, NEB. – Dave Murman of Glenvil has been designated a “Friend of Agriculture” by NEFB-PAC, Nebraska Farm Bureau’s political action committee. Murman is seeking to represent District 38 in the Nebraska Legislature.
