Young Farmers & Ranchers
Equipping young farmers, ranchers and agribusiness professionals to be leaders in their county and our state

The Young Farmers and Ranchers (YF&R) program is comprised of men and women ages 18-35 who are Farm Bureau members and looking to develop their leadership skills while also meeting and networking with their peers. For more than 50 years, young farmers and ranchers from across Nebraska have come together to share their experiences and to gather ideas and information.
As concerns in agriculture change so do the topics at YF&R. Young producers are the future of Nebraska agriculture. Now more than ever, young farmers and ranchers are needed to continue to produce enough food, fiber, and fuel to sustain the growing population.
Young Farmers and Ranchers grow through actions like…
- Providing workable solutions for issues affecting agriculture
- Influencing public policies that affect agriculture now and in the future
- Sharing their agricultural perspective
- Serving their communities by volunteering and making a difference

Conference
Young Farmers & Ranchers from across Nebraska gather once a year to network and gain information to use on their operation. Each conference features innovative tours, dynamic speakers, and several breakout sessions. The Conference will be held in January at the Younes Conference Center in Kearney, NE.
