YF&R Committee
Developing a new generation of leaders in agriculture.

We Are Young People in Agriculture, Just Like You!
Making a Lasting Impact in the Industry
The Young Farmers and Ranchers (YF&R) Committee is our think tank, our inspiration hub, our connection to the fresh ideas and vibrant energy that young leaders bring to Nebraska Farm Bureau. This is where you can make a real impact, shaping our State YF&R Program and steering the future of Farm Bureau leadership.
Appointed by membership region, the Committee provides vital feedback to the NEFB Board of Directors. And you’ll be in good company – serving alongside committee members comprised of seven regional positions and four at-large positions: YF&R At-Large, two Student At-Large, and the Youth At-Large NEFB Board Member (ex-officio). Regardless of your region or position, we value your contribution and offer the opportunity to serve two terms on the NEFB YF&R Committee.
Members of the YF&R committee attend three in person meetings a year – the NEBF Annual Meeting, the NEFB YF&R Conference, and our Spring Meeting. When we can’t meet face-to-face, we bridge the gap with lively, monthly Zoom calls. Your journey on the YF&R committee also includes an exclusive invite to the AFBF Young Farmers and Ranchers Conference and the YF&R D.C. Fly-in. Each of these experiences are a stepping stone to becoming an impactful leader in the world of agriculture and the Farm Bureau. Join us, grow with us, lead with us.
