‍Bayer/Monsanto asked U.S. trade officials to impose tariffs ranging from 68.9%-446.47% on glyphosate imports from China. According to DTN reporter Chris Clayton, Bayer/Monsanto is the only U.S. manufacturer of glyphosate and produces roughly 60% of glyphosate sold in the U.S. . . .  Supporters of Initiative Petition 28 in Oregon have submitted more than the number of signatures needed to place it on the November ballot. The measure, if passed, would criminalize injuring or killing animals, including killing for food, hunting, and fishing, and breeding practices . . .
