China has imposed an above quota “safeguard” tariff of 55% on imports of U.S. beef along with a handful of other countries’ beef imports . . . The Renewable Fuels Association said data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration showed ethanol accounted for 11.06% of the nation's gasoline in October, marking the first time the monthly ethanol blend rate exceeded 11% . . .
