Nebraska Farm Bureau (NEFB) is strengthening its commitment to serving members through a strategic realignment of staff responsibilities and several key promotions designed to enhance membership engagement, recruitment, retention and member services.

The changes, announced by Chief Administrator Rob Robertson, establish a dedicated Membership Department while further strengthening the organization’s marketing, communications and technology functions.

“Our members are at the center of everything we do,” Robertson said. “As Nebraska Farm Bureau continues to grow and evolve, it’s important that our team structure evolves with it. These changes allow us to better support our members, strengthen engagement across the state and position the organization for long-term success.”

As part of the realignment, Adam Peterson has expanded his leadership responsibilities and has been promoted to senior director of membership. In this role, Peterson will oversee all membership functions, including administration, regional manager leadership, membership promotions, Farm Bureau Financial Services relations, and member recruitment and retention efforts.

To support those efforts, Tara Ihde has been promoted to coordinator of membership and leadership programs. Ihde will assist with membership administration, database management, membership requirements and meeting planning while helping ensure members receive exceptional service and support.

The changes also include the promotion of Cassie Hoebelheinrich to senior director of marketing and communications. Hoebelheinrich succeeds Tina Henderson, who will retire later this year. Hoebelheinrich will lead Nebraska Farm Bureau’s marketing, communications and brand awareness efforts while partnering closely with the Membership Department to support recruitment, retention and member engagement initiatives.

Additionally, Oscar Diaz has been realigned into the role of senior director of IT and membership systems. Diaz will provide leadership for the organization’s technology systems, data platforms and digital infrastructure that support membership operations and improve the member experience.

Robertson said the new structure creates greater focus and accountability while ensuring Nebraska Farm Bureau remains responsive to the needs of its members.

“By creating a dedicated Membership Department and aligning staff strengths with our strategic priorities, we are building an even stronger organization,” Robertson said. “These changes will help us better connect with members, deliver valuable services and continue advancing agriculture and rural communities across Nebraska.”
