Membership: An Investment in the Future of Agriculture
We are thankful for a year of growth and having members who see the value in investing in agriculture.

NEFB Health Plans
NEFB Health Plans are high-quality, dependable, and affordable health coverage plans for individuals and families, featuring a nationwide provider network and various levels of deductible, co-pays, and out-of-pocket maximums. Because they are not insurance, they are medically underwritten and individually rated, which offers members comprehensive, benefit-rich options at rates that can be 30% to 50% less than unsubsidized plans offered under the ACA. This is a game changer in lower health insurance costs for all Nebraskans.
Legislative Wins That Make a Difference

NEFB developed and offers a lower-cost health plan for its members as an alternative to higher-cost health insurance.

NEFB contributed to the US Supreme Court’s overturning of Chevron, empowering farmers to challenge unfair regulations. Agriculture now faces fewer unchecked federal mandates.

NEFB supported legislation to bring high-quality broadband to rural Nebraska by allowing internet providers access to unused fiber to expand service.

NEFB supported state incentives for farmer adoption of new technologies to improve nitrogen management and secured a tax credit for the installation of water treatment systems.
